This internet web stuffis really compulsive-obsessive. I keep trying to learn new stuff and implement, then a million more Pandora's Boxes spring open, so I deconstruct everything and start learning and reconstrcuting. I've vowed to complete this site, however simple, and to stuff technology for the time-being

This trip in Hawaii has been truly wonderful, a true journey into metaphysical existence. Aloha, a word with multiple meanings, Hello, Goodbye, a rich expression denoting all-encompassing Universal Love. To the Hawaiians, it is a way of life. Slow down, smell the roses. Ride the wave. Love your fellowman, we're all cousins. Enjoy the ride. No fear, and no shame.
Pele, the goddess of Creation and Destruction is the Hawaiian manifestation of Hinduism's' Shiva. She lives in the land, a mythical figure guarding the treasures of the Islands. All these diverse elements are displayed in the multitude of environments, ethnic mixtures of the peoples and the geological processes that sculpt this isolated microcosm of existence. Then there's the zen-like nature of wave riding, alignment of energy centers, and mindful thoughtlessness that accompanies playing in the ocean. It's amazing to see the wonderful things that truly manifest just by pure thought. So many gifts to treasure and so many lessons learnt. My time, here is coming to an end. It has been such a treat to have had the opportunity to live here, and be accepted into Hawaii by the locals (esp. the Hawaiians and sharing their Aloha- all think I'm a local girl until I speak!), the surf is in my soul, with 3 competition trophies to show-off, mad full moon camping trips, a home spitting distance from the ocean, hiking, beautiful unique sunset and sunrises day after day,
, a free Volkswagen convertible beetle ( I kept seeing them everywhere, then one day I stumbled upon one lonely one...), a wicked job , and total connection to the world via the explosion of the internet world. It was quite ironic how I came to be here in Hawaii- partial escapism from the hectic world of London, but also winning a green card just as I'd wished-my mantra was "it ain't where you're at it's where YOU are at", this was around the time of the web explosion-henceforth my self-imposed exile came at a time when communications was opening up the world yet bringing it right into your living space. To save time, I've compiled a slideshow of certain memories in Hawaii, I wish I had a photochip in my brain (oops , beware of what you wish for..) I would have captured much more.

This has been one true trip. Can't wait until the next one. Until then, enjoy the slides. And a happy, joyous, uncombobulated New Year.
